Bio

Kevin Anglade is a musician from Queens, New York. His music is centered upon ideas of Black identity, systemic inequality, decolonial methods, nation-building and family life. As a songwriter and producer, he writes and produces for both himself and various acts. During the academic year, he is a scholar and lecturer of Africana Studies in the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies at Rowan University. His work specializes in Africana Critical Theory, Black Family Studies, and cultural retentions/continuity within the African Diaspora.
